Kangen Water – Introductory Card

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

A friend of mine recently started a new business showing and selling a new alkaline water system (manufactured for hospitals in Japan).  I wanted to show him the power of sending a simple greeting card and so I created the following card for him.  Imagine the possibilities when you can use any royalty-free graphic to create the perfect personalized greeting card just for your recipient!

Keep in mind that I am an advocate of sending heart-felt cards almost exclusively, however, this was probably the 8th or 9th card that I’d sent him and had already introduced him to the system and the concept & power of a heart-felt card.  This was just to show how powerful and versetile the system was!

This was a 3-panel card.  The 1st graphic was the front/cover.  The 2nd graphic is the “flap.”  What you see when you lift the cover and before you open the flap to the 3-panel inside.  Then the 3rd graphic is the center and bottom portion of the card.  The upper portion was a personal note in my own handwriting.

Enjoy

The 2009 Inc. 500: The Best of the Websites

SendOutCards, Salt Lake City, No. 158

Hoping to bridge the gap between lick-the-seal Hallmarks and impersonal e-cards is SendOutCards.  SendOutCards.com allows users to create custom cards online in the customer’s own handwriting and signatures, which are then printed and delivered via postal mail to the recipient.  SendOutCards was founded on the fulfillment of a promise to always act on inclinations (or promptings)  toward general kindness, says CEO Kody Bateman. “The most important thing to running an online business is keeping it personal,” he says.

The smartest way to advertise your business is to send heartfelt cards to your customers in which you ask for nothing in return.  You simply want to make them smile and show them you care about them on a personal level.  You “Send Out To Give” instead of “Sending Out to Get.”  One of Kody Bateman’s favorite sayings is “Appreciation Wins Over Self-Promotion Every Time!”

SendOutCards also made Inc.’s Top 100 in Consumer Products and Services … it’s #13!

If you would like to check out this wonderful company and it’s services, please fill out the form below and I’ll set you up to send 2 free cards using the system – my treat!
